Hans holds a degree in business management and is a member of Society of Certified Kitchen Designers. In 2005, he was chosen as the Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles Magazine Bath of the Year Grand Prize Winner. He comes from a family of furniture and cabinet manufacturers that spans several generations.

Hans’ father was a furniture maker who immigrated from the Black Forest region of Germany. Two of Hans’ uncles reside near Stuttgart and own furniture companies. Hans’ father eventually became a partner in a cabinet shop started by Adolph Roecker, also a German immigrant.

At Roecker Cabinets, Hans was taught the business under the watchful eye of his well-trained and conscientious father. Working in all phases of the cabinet plant gave Hans valuable knowledge in every area of manufacturing, installation and design. During his thirty years in the kitchen industry, Hans has worked in Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky and Florida, which has given him varied design experience that is unusual in the industry. Past credentials and honors include serving as chapter Vice President of the NKBA, being a member of industry focus groups for DuPont, Corian, J. Wood Cabinetry, Southern Homes, and several major appliance manufacturers. Hans is also an award winner in the Southern Homes Kitchen Design Competition.
